Our friends at Asian American Commerce Group are seeking candidates for the part-time position of executive director.
The executive director is responsible for:
Implementing the Asian American Commerce Group’s vision and facilitate the development of planning priorities.
Developing and implementing AACG’s revenue programs through increased membership, sponsorship and grant opportunities.
Establishing collaborative relationships with government entities, corporate and community agencies.
Working collaboratively with the AACG board with brand and creative strategy to ensure that membership campaigns and support systems are integrated with programs and events.
Providing strategic direction and management of new memberships of new membership recruitment, retention, and win-back of former memberships and current database.
Recruiting volunteers and create strategic committees on programs and events.
Ensuring all admin and back office work is completed including update of all documents in google docs.
Attending AACG Board meetings and ensuring meeting agenda and minutes are completed.
Responsible for membership database and ensures an accurate and centralize membership records database, dues invoice administration and a timely dues collection system form the entire membership base.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field
Experience in relevant membership relations management, fundraising and events management
Demonstrated skill in leadership and visioning.
Demonstrated proficiency in and experience in customer service with high standards of timeliness and responsiveness.
Outstanding project management, analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills including collaborative skills.
Skill in the use of supporting technologies.
Experience in dealing with diverse individuals particularly the diverse Asian American businesses, state and the city.
Pay consists of a monthly stipend and a commission based on dues and sponsorships.
